Everyone who auditions for an A.C.T. production will be cast! Participating in Children’s Theatre fosters creativity, builds confidence, and improves communication skills. At A.C.T. children can practice theater technique and expand their repertoire, while making friendships and memories to last a lifetime! Ms. Amber created Alachua Children’s Theatre in 2023 with support from her wonderful husband to share the joy of theatre with her three children and the youth of our community. Ms. Amber met Assistant Director & Set Designer, Ms. Alison, when the two were in Children’s Theatre over thirty years ago. Together they lead our talented Production Team!

A.C.T. Artistic Director, Ms. Amber
Very active with Children’s Theatre in her youth, Ms. Amber received training in acting, singing, and dance, performing both on stage and on film sets in Hollywood. For years she told jokes aboard the World Famous Jungle Cruise at Disneyland as well as working as a Tour Guide & Information Hostess for the Park. Ms. Amber received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Southern California with a minor in Business Administration. She studied Shakespeare at the British American Drama Academy in London, England, and has performed internationally aboard Oceania Cruises where she served as Onboard HR Manager. In June 2025 Amber directed the Comedy, ‘The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)’ at High Springs Playhouse. With a wealth of experience working with children as a former Elementary School Teacher and Youth Activities Counselor aboard Disney Cruise Line, Ms. Amber is thrilled to welcome you to the A.C.T. Family!
A.C.T. Assistant Director & Set Designer, Ms. Alison
Ms. Alison is a loving wife and mother of two, who has a passion for the arts. She has performed in many musical theatre productions, performing such roles as “Dorothy” in The Wizard of Oz, “Alice” in Alice in Wonderland, and “Nancy” in Oliver Twist. She also has an extensive ballet background, performing and studying with such companies as the California Riverside Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and Joffrey Ballet in New York City. She is excited to be involved with ACT, helping children discover a love of the arts and performance.
A.C.T. Musical Director, Mr. Nathan
As music director for A.C.T.’s The Jungle Book Kids, Nathan Wynn is dedicated to making theater and music accessible to both the community and young performers. Wholeheartedly believing in the transformative power of the arts, he strives to create opportunities where creativity thrives and lives are changed. Nathan directed The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition and Aladdin Jr. and played Mowgli in his first show! With a special passion for music and performing arts, Nathan works to inspire the next generation while ensuring that theater remains an open and welcoming space for all.
A.C.T. Musical Assistant, Ms. Priscilla
Ms. Priscilla is a lifelong lover of music and a passionate singer. Her love for music took root at home, where she spent countless hours singing along with her sister. She also grew up singing in churches. In high school, she blossomed musically, immersing herself in choir and exploring classical solo performance. Music performance. Music performance became the foundation through which she discovered confidence in her voice, developed public speaking skills, and grew as a leader. Though she didn’t major in music, Priscilla continued to prioritize choir during her university years, finding joy, creativity and balance through music. Since then, she has participated in several community choirs and continues to keep music as an important part of her life. Today, one of her greatest joys is sharing the passion for music, singing and performance with her own children.
